Apparently, it's something lots of fans do... assuming they are at the more creative end of the spectrum. Try to write Doctor Who stories based entirely on a few lines in Andrew Pixley's DWM archive. So, that's what I did for a few years in my early teens. Therefore it would be a barefaced lie to give me any real kind of copyright over this stuff, so I say only this:
I wrote the teleplays based entirely on material by other people. It ain't mine, but you won't find it anywhere else.
OK, the 27 Up universe picks up at the end of the original Season 27 and is a series of script-format stories by me based on ideas and storylines by other, much cleverer people. It chronicles the adventures of the Eighth and later Ninth Doctors as they bumble around through time and space meeting the occasional returning villain. Very occasional.
So the first story to be reposted here is the Seventh Doctor's swansong, Alixion, based on the three line description from the original article 27 Up and the Lost Adventures article in 2000. It stars Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor, Julia Sawalha as Kate Tollinger and Bob Monkhouse as the Abbot, and was created by Robert Mukherjee.
